Giacomo Vanelli

Sound is a constant vibration, just like the world around us and the beings that inhabit it. We are vibration and therefore sound. Atmospherica stems from an idea by Giacomo Vanelli, a musician and composer who creates experimental electronic music, and Francesca Pavesi, known as IDRA, a musician, producer, and sound artist. Their focus on the spatial and atmospheric dimension of sound allows for the creation of unique sonic landscapes for those who want to feel the music rather than just listen to it. Their focus on the spatial and atmospheric dimension of sound allows for the creation of unique sonic landscapes for those who want to feel the music rather than just listen to it. Through the use of modular systems, music becomes a delicate and airy space in which to take refuge. The intention is to lead the listener into a close dialogue with their own self, in that innate and profound connection between humans and the natural world. The introduction of effects derived from the recording of environmental elements and the dilation of musical time lead to the production of rarefied atmospheres in which the listener can experience a sort of suspension. The composition can have tight rhythms or almost none at all. It can create funeral or idyllic atmospheres. It's a project based on principles of improvisation, electronic music, rituals, teaching, and meditation, aimed at inspiring and practicing the art of listening and perception in different environmental conditions. An innovative sonic experience that hosts the most talented artists of the Ambient scene, inviting them to perform with original performances and creative improvisations. Outdoor activities are in close dialogue with Nature, enhancing the positive impact that the interaction between artistic practices and the environment can generate.

Sleep concert /

In intimate spaces or under starry skies, we invite listeners to spend a night where rarefied sounds and suspended notes will accompany them in a border zone between sleep and wakefulness, in a shift of perception oriented towards the inner world. The listener will thus be free to comfortably lie down, close their eyes, and immerse themselves in a multi-sensory sound journey.

Ambient impromptu /

Moments of shared sound improvisation among musicians finely guided by mutual listening. The subtle dialogue created through the combination of modular synths, classical instruments, or rare instrumentation will make the listening experience unique and unrepeatable.

Modular Picnic /

A project that looks at nature with the power and harmony that only music can convey and aims to reduce its impact on the planet through sustainable choices and energy self-sufficiency. The dimension created in this journey of musical exploration and interaction with the environment paints a scenario where the sound world is shared with the audience in an accessible space.
